Instructions:

  • 1 pair of cotton socks
  • 1 pair of thick wool socks
  • 1 towel

These steps should be performed just before going to bed. Take a pair of cotton socks and soak them in cold water. Wring out so the socks are not dripping, and put on feet. Take a dry pair of thick wool socks and place over the wet cotton socks. Go to bed immediately and wrap a towel over the feet to keep the bed dry. Go to sleep. When performed correctly, the feet should begin to warm up within a few minutes. Within a few hours, the socks should be completely dry.

Some individuals may find the wet socks uncomfortable at first. This is normal. The feet will soon warm up and the cold, wet sensation will not be as noticeable.
